Are you mechanically inclined, motivated, and looking to build a rewarding career in a skilled trade? Whether you’re an experienced installer or just starting out, Legacy Garage Doors & Gates is hiring dedicated individuals who take pride in quality workmanship, value teamwork, and want to grow with a company that respects and invests in its people.
We install and service residential and commercial garage doors, gates, and motors across the Okanagan. Our work environment is built on mutual respect, accountability, and a "work hard, play hard" culture supported by strong team synergy and regular team-building events.
What You'll Be Doing
- Install, service, and repair garage doors, gates, openers, and motors for residential and commercial clients
- Remove and dispose of old systems when required
- Collaborate with team members or work independently depending on job size
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers
- Maintain high standards of safety, precision, and quality at all times
What You Bring to the Team
- Mechanically inclined with excellent troubleshooting skills
- Positive, proactive attitude with strong self-motivation
- Comfortable working at heights and capable of lifting heavy materials
- Good communication skills – verbal and written – with customers and teammates
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
- Willing to work flexible hours and in all weather conditions
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean ICBC abstract
Nice-to-Haves (but not required)
- Prior experience with garage door and gate systems
- Knowledge of different manufacturers and models
- Technical or trades certifications
