Edith Rozsa
PROUD OWNER/OPERATOR
Edith has been the proud owner of Legacy Garage Doors & Gates for a decade. She is deeply invested in providing the best possible work experience for The Legacy Team which translates to premier service for all customers. “I take great pride in the team we have and the culture that exists here at Legacy. I am thankful to our valued customers who tell their experience story via Google reviews”. Through her hands-on approach, Edith works alongside the Team in all aspects of the business. When she is not collaborating with customers and the team, she can be found in the mountains. Previously, a leading athlete on the Canadian Alpine Ski Team for 9 years, Edith loves to resort ski and find deep powder stashes in the back country. Her 2 active teenage boys as well as her two furry hounds, Port and Harvey, also keep her active.
Kurtis Wagar
SALES EXECUTIVE
A born connector, our sales executive has a passion for building strong relationships and achieving success. As an 18-year veteran in the construction industry, Kurtis always finds what our customers are looking for. “Representing such a deep-rooted company allows me to really connect with builders and homeowners alike in our community. I look forward to every phone call and meeting the next happy customer.” With his big heart and genuine interest in helping others, Kurtis effortlessly delivers personalized support and goes above and beyond for his clients. Why? Kurtis performed at the highest level of Lacross as the goalie for Team Canada. He then gave back to the sport by coaching the Las Vegas Desert Dogs Lacrosse team in the NLL. Whether you're looking for expert guidance on your next project or replacing your old door, he is the ultimate teammate.
Amanda Mindel
SERVICE/REPAIR COORDINATOR & ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE
Amanda’s voice will be your first pleasant experience with Legacy Garage Doors. Nearing 2 years with the company, Amanda has quickly learned the industry and will help get your service and/or repair work quickly scheduled and completed. If you need replacement parts or even overhead door panels, Amanda will guide you through that process. “I love the customer service part of my job, and I also really enjoy supporting the Techs in the field’. Amanda’s two teenage daughters excel in Fastball, so Amanda passionately supports the Kelowna Fastball Association and enjoys playing in a Women’s league when time permits. Position: pitcher! Chopper and Zyla are both young Bassett Hounds and yes, their ears need regular cleaning (think ear roombas!)
Mike Garrett
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Our Operations Manager and senior installer, Mike enjoys full work days with a variety of responsibilities. Often consulting with The Team as well as other Trades to ensure sites are prepared correctly and all unique situations are taken into consideration. “I really enjoy challenging installs where we have to get creative and can offer the customer a solution that other companies may not be able to”. Mike is a passionate outdoorsman who mountain bikes, ski tours and hikes. His furry friend is Norman, an aussie doodle rescued from Ohio who loves to explore the mountains and play fetch.
Quinn Murray
TECHNICIAN
Starting his career in overhead door and gate work in January 2023, Quinn had an understanding of mechanics which was a great advantage for motors as well as the plethora of considerations that go into installation, service and repair work. “There’s something so satisfying about finishing an install and looking back at the transformation to a space that I have directly been responsible for”. Not many installers will tell you that they love commercial installation and repair work because of the heavy lifting, but that is one of Quinn’s favourite aspects of the craft. That and talking to customers, particularly if they have a dog. In his youth, Quinn played minor league hockey, and these days, he continues to enjoy many sports with dirt biking and skiing being his favorites. Golf is up there also. His best move on skis? Backflip!!!
Isaac Webster
TECHNICIAN
Isaac is another valued member of The Legacy Team who admits that he thinks a lot about garage doors in his downtime. “Nearly all garage door and gate projects are unique to themselves. I love to refine and further master the craft while I also enjoy fun challenge that service and repair work offers. I like focusing on things that might be overlooked and pay attention to the little details”. Yes, we call him meticulous! Hobbies: where do we start with this adrenaline seeker: he loves the energy he gets when in nature, snowboarding at Big White or kayaking down Mission Creek for ‘backyard laps’. He is also a passionate golfer with training facilities in and around his home. Isaac’s furry friend is a 9-year-old tuxedo cat named Tesla who is a classic, sometimes feisty cat who loves to cuddle in the mornings.
Tyler Bray
TECHNICIAN
One benefit to working in our industry is the variety of locations our Technicians work in: no ‘Groundhog Day’ here! Tyler really appreciates the constant change of scenery, seeing beautiful homes and buildings and especially connecting with customers along the way. “I really enjoy connecting with other trades too. Having worked in different trades before joining Legacy, I have a real appreciation and understanding for the skill and effort that goes into their work (a significant benefit when installing doors & gates). I am also a huge car enthusiast so love the many incredible vehicles stored in garages across the Okanagan. My dream car: a midnight blue Nissan GTR.” Outside of work, Tyler hikes, paddleboards and does pretty much everything with his wife while also prioritizing his 2 kids. He is also an animal lover with two dogs: Izzy, a boxer/mastiff and Max, a 10 year old Pomeranian who runs the show!
